Hi everyone,
So I know the 31 Day Nail Art Challenge was actually over at the end of September and I finished the challenge a good few weeks ago but I still thought I'd do a little roundup post to summarise the whole challenge. I know I've been a really bad blogger over the past few weeks but fingers crossed I'm back on track now!
Anyway so at the beginning of September I decided to take on the mammoth task of the 31 Day Nail Art Challenge, as well as hold down a job and move into university. To some extent I succeeded as I finished the challenge, but not in the timescale I planned to. Here's a quick reminder of the challenge, courtesy of Sarah from Chalkboard Nails:
This challenge definteily pushed me nail art wise, however it pushed my in a good way. I created nail art which I never thought I'd have the skill set to do, it just goes to show this challenge is definitely a game-changer! Here's a round up of all of the designs I created:
I think in general all of the designs turned out well, and the ones I was expecting to be hard actually turned out to by my favourites! Here are a few of my favourite designs from the challenge:
Day 3 - Yellow Nails
Day 4 - Green Nails
Day 8 - Metallic Nails
Day 10 - Gradient Nails
Day 20 - Water Marble
Day 21 - Inspired by a Colour
Day 27 - Inspired by Artwork
Day 30 - Inspired by a tutorial
So that's the roundup! Once again I'd like to apoligise for my slacking on the blogging front, but I'll try and get back to normal no that I've settled in the University life!

What did you think of the designs I created for the 31DC?
Which design is your favourite?
Let me know what you think

Its great to see them all in one post!
ReplyDeleteIt really is - I agree! :)
DeleteLove them all! Haha I was thinking "oh wow she colour coordinated those first posts, how awesome!" and then I realized the prompts were of course "yellow", "green" etc. :D I think it's so funny how the yellow one is in your favourites! I remember reading that you didn't like that colour so it's great a challenge like this can make you change your mind :) My favourite might be Day 10, I just love that gradient!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Robin! I know - I couldn't believe it either, I'm still not completely convinced by yellow nail polish yet though! Oooh I love that one too - I think I'll have to recreate that gradient again sometime! :)
DeleteThank you Bubica! :)
ReplyDeleteWoo great to see you back! I kept popping over to your blog checking if there were any new posts, and now there's 3 that I've missed somehow lol! Well done on completing the 30 day challenge, it's amazing that you balanced everything and found the time.
ReplyDeleteI love them all but the yellow one is my favourite I think, I have a top that looks exactly the same as it! I will have to show you a picture!
Thank you Emily! Haha, I'm still trying to get back into the routine of blogging at the moment! Oooh you will definitely have to show me! :)
