Newspaper Nails

Hi everyone,

So today I decided to do newspaper nails. I think they went pretty well.

I used NYC Little Italy.

Instead of using rubbing alcohol or vodka I decided to experiment with other things. I tried water and mouthwash, but they didn't work.

But then I thought about using perfume, and it worked! The print has come out clearer than I thought it would, although it is hard to get the newspaper on correctly! If you try this make sure the white is REALLY dry before you apply the newspaper. I left it a day just to be on the safe side. Another good thing is that it leaves your nails smelling nice as well!

Spots and Stripes

Hi everyone!

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've had exams the last couple of weeks so I have been revising for them.

It's been snowing since Friday here in the UK, but last night we had so much snow ,I get the day off school! Everything has literally come to a stand still, there is so much snow!

Today I decided to combine 3 of my favourite colours ( purple, turquoise and pink) into one nail art design.

I used NYC Little Italy, Max Factor Nailfinity Disco Pink, Max Factor max colour effects mini Cool Jade, Max Factor max colour effects mini Diva Violet, and No7 Nail Art Striper in Black.

Stars or Flowers?

Hi everyone,

Today I decided to use some of my new No7 Nail Art set ( see post here )

I used No7 Foxglove and my No7 Nail Art Striper in Silver.

I decided to do a simple design, to test out the striper and I have to say it worked really well!

I think the silver really stands out and will definitely be using it again.

I cannot decide whether they look like stars or flowers!

These were originally stars, I still think they are but i'm not sure...

Today, instead of nail art I have decided to show you the nail polish I got for Christmas and some things I picked up in the sales!

This is the Revlon nail polish set I received for Christmas. I haven't used Revlon nail polish before, so it'll be interesting to see what it's like. The set contains Revlon Gold Coin , Revlon Sheer Rose, Revlon Craving Coral,  Revlon Tuscan Sun, Revlon Silver Screen.
