31 Day Challenge 2014

Hi everyone,
As I told you yesterday I have something very exciting to reveal for you today! For some crazy reason I  have decided to take part in the 31 Day Nail Art Challenge! For the past few years Sarah from Chalkboard Nails has organised the 31 Day Nail Art Challenge and each year I've looked and her posts and been amazed that she has managed to do this challenge non-stop and her nail art has always been amazing!
This year I've decided to join her - although I have no idea how I'll manage with work and moving to a different city in the middle of September for University!
Here is the prompt:

You can see Sarah's original post here.

So that's all for today, no nail art but you'll be seeing a lot more of my nails for the next couple of weeks!
Are you taking part in the 31DC2014?
Have you ever taken part in it?
Let me know what you think

Polish Party: Glitter & Gems

Hi everyone,
So today I'm going to show you the design I created for this months Polish Party theme - glitter and/or gems. Instead of just doing glitter nails or gem nails I decided to combine the two using my newest glitter polish - Models Own Southern Lights
Here's the design I created:

I used Ciate Ferris Wheel and Models Own Southern Lights

Lacquer Legion: Weird Science

Hi everyone,
So today I thought I'd show you my design for this months Lacquer Legion theme: Weird Science! If I'm honest when I first saw this prompt I wasn't going to talk part this month - I had no idea what to do! But then after I thought about it I decided to take the challenge and create a design!

Born Pretty Store Nail Decals review

*This item was provided for review
Hi everyone,
So first of all I'm back! I actually got back from my holiday last week, but I just haven't had a chance to post anything! It was actually A level results day last Thursday for me and I'm going to University! I was lucky enough to get into my first choice for the course I want to do! Over the next few weeks I'll be doing lots of packing and trying to figure out which nail polishes to take with me to University (it's a lot harder to decide than you think!).

Anyway, today I thought I'd share with you a review of some nail decals* from the Born Pretty Store. As soon as these decals arrived I knew I had to use them - they are just so pretty!

These lovely decals are item number 15583 (DLS-193) and you can view them here.
Here is the design I created using the decals:

The Perfect White Nail Polish

Hi everyone,
So I'm still on my holiday - only a few days left and I'll be back! (Fingers crossed this has posted!)
For today's post I thought I'd share with you something I've only just discovered - the perfect white nail polish! As nail art lovers I'm sure you all know the struggle with finding a white nail polish which doesn't take 3-4 coats and is opaque within 1 at the most 2. White is one of the most frequently used nail polishes for nail art, so when I found one which was budget friendly (£1.99) I couldn't believe it!
The nail polish I'm talking about is Sinful Colors Snow Me White!

Blue swirls

Hi everyone,
So I'm currently on my summer holiday so I'm hoping (fingers crossed!) that this post has published! Today's nails don't really have a format- they are just really random, I didn't have a final outcome in mind ! I'm not quite sure what this design is but I  do like the colour combination!
Here's the design:

I used No7 Night Silver, Ciate Ferris Wheel and Barry M Nail Art Pen in White.

Holiday Nails

Hi everyone,
So today I'm going to show you the nails I am wearing for my summer holiday! I leave this weekend and of course I have to have my nails painted for the occasion! As soon as we booked our holiday I knew exactly what I was going to have on my nails -  a design I'd seen over at Nailed It NZ, a blog run by the insanely talented Jessie who is also training to be a nail tech!

How amazing is her design?
Jessie actually did a tutorial for this design which you can see here and you can also see her original post with more photos of the design here. She also re-did this design as part of the 'Trip Down Nail Art Lane Challenge' and I loved it just as much as the first one that I took inspiration from both to create my holiday nails!

Here's my recreation of Jessie's design:
