The Lacquer Legion: Garden

Hi everyone,
So it's almost the end of the month which means Lacquer Legion time! This months theme is Garden! When I first saw this design I was completely uninspired. I know the obvious design is flowers, but I didn't want to do that, I wanted to do something different and push myself to create something unique. The design I have come up with is nothing like my usual style of designs, but it's why I like it even more!

Here's the design:

Polish Party: Splatter Nails

Hi everyone,
So today I thought I'd show you the design I created for this months Polish Party theme - splatter. I have to be honest with you, when I first saw this theme I wasn't going to participate. Every time I try to do splatter nails they always fail, but this time I thought I'd give them a try, but do something slightly different.
Here's what I came up with:

I used Maybelline Color Show Iced Queen, Max Factor Cool Jade and Barry M Nail Art Pen in White

White Tribal Pop Art

Hi everyone,
Today is my last day in Sixth Form! (Sixth Form is basically college and you go their to study A-Levels.) Anyway, because it's my last day I knew I couldn't leave Sixth Form without some nail art on my nails. So, I took a break from revision, paired 2 of my favourite colours and came up with another design from the Tribal Pop Art Series (click here to see my other designs from the series)
Here's my design:

I used Barry M Gelly Guava, Barry M Gelly Pomegranate, Barry M Matt White and Barry M Nail Art Pen in White.

Guest Post: Emily from Nailsxo

Hi everyone,
So today I have a guest post from Emily from Nailsxo. Emily is one of my favourite bloggers, she comes up with great designs and I love her photos. She's also a great blogging friend too!
Anyway over to Emily:

Hi everyone! Emily here from Nailsxo. I'm so happy to be here doing this guest post for Jayna, I really love looking at her nails and reading her posts (big fan) :)! So lets get to it!

If you have been reading my blog, then you'll know that I've been making a lot of nail art based around Spring - I love it! It means creating colourful designs and using bright colours, my favourite! So when thinking of ideas, Spring was still at the forefront of my mind, so I gave in and did another Spring design ;).

Would you rather? - Beauty Edition

Hi everyone,
So as I'm not painting my nails at the moment I decided let you all get to know a bit more about me by catching up on a few posts I've been tagged in. I think I'll make this a regular thing for the next few weeks!
Today I've decided to take part in the Would you rather? - Beauty Edition post.
I first saw this on Addicted to Nails' Blog (you can read her post here).

Maybelline Color Show Urban Turquoise Swatch

*This nail polish was purchased by me
Hi everyone,
So I today I thought I'd raid the archives and find some swatches I haven't got round to posting! I'm really missing blogging but the good news is I've done 1 exam - only 5 more to go! I also decided to join twitter too - something I never thought I'd do! (you can follow me here).
Anyway for today's swatch I thought I'd show you the lovely Maybelline Color Show Urban Turquoise.

This was the first Maybelline nail polish I purchased and I have to say I'm really impressed with it! I had this colour in my mind for such a long time but I could never find the exact shade I wanted (does anyone else get this?) until I walked past the Maybelline stand at my local Superdrug! As soon as I saw it I knew I had to buy it!

Hi everyone,
Today I have another guest post from the lovely Cherelle from Galorious.
Cherelle creates so many amazing designs - I especially like her monotone and tribal designs!
Anyway over to Cherelle:

Hi! I'm from Galorious Blog and it is an honour to guest post for Jayna!

My friend suggested for me to create some Chilli nails a while back, so I have finally put it to test as an accent nail.

Guest Post: Grace from Addicted to Nails...

Hi everyone,
So today I have another guest blogger today: Grace from Addicted to Nails...!
Grace always creates great designs and comes up with the best colour combinations too!
Anyway, over to Grace:

Hi! I'm Grace from the little blog Addicted To Nails... Today's going to be another use of the brilliant dotting tools which readers of mine will know I am currently obsessed with them as they are so easy to use! But don't fear that it's the usual random dots across the nail, today's different seeing as inspiration struck in the form of a tutorial video here by the amazing Polishpedia.
