Born Pretty Store Review!

Hi everyone,

Today I have a very exciting product to share with you from the Born Pretty Store.

I was contacted by them a few weeks ago and asked to do a review. For those of you who don't know, Born Pretty Store is an online store which specialises in nail art products. It also sells make-up, jewellery and accessories. 

 The product I chose to review was the 5mm Shiny Mini Metal Shell Design Stud, product number 10181. These little shell studs and are available in two colours: gold and silver. You can also choose from two sizes: 3mm and 5mm. I chose the gold 5mm studs.

In each packet you receive 20 studs, which I think is pretty good. You can use these again and again - there are so many uses for them! These studs are actually curved, which you can see in the picture above.

I decided to create two designs with these studs, to show their versatility.

Here is the first design:

I used Sinful Colors Amethyst, Revlon Gold Coin and 5mm Shiny Mini Metal Shell Design Stud in Gold.

To apply these studs I added a coat of clear nail polish (No7 Stay Perfect Top Coat) and then placed the stud on top using tweezers.

 I really like this design, it shows off the simplicity of the studs and how you can add them as an accent nails to your designs.

Here is my next design:

I used Sinful Colours Island Coral, Rimmel Your Majesty and 5mm Shiny Mini Metal Shell Design Stud in Gold.

I have to say I was actually surprised how much I like this design! I think the colours look great together!

I think this design shows the versatility of the studs, they look great both with or without a background pattern.

Overall I really love these studs. They are such a cute idea - I've never seen studs like this anywhere else before and I cannot wait to use these in the summer to create beach themed nails.
