Polish Party: Glitter & Gems

Hi everyone,
So today I'm going to show you the design I created for this months Polish Party theme - glitter and/or gems. Instead of just doing glitter nails or gem nails I decided to combine the two using my newest glitter polish - Models Own Southern Lights
Here's the design I created:

I used Ciate Ferris Wheel and Models Own Southern Lights

Polish Party: Recreaction

Hi everyone,
So today's polish party theme is very exciting: Recreating the first design we ever published on our blogs! I've only been blogging for a year and a half but looking back at the photo of my first design I cannot believe how far I have come! This was the first design I ever created, I had somehow stumbled across WAH Nails and fell in love with their POW nails. I went out and bought a Models Own Nail Art Pen in Black and created this design. I was so happy with the outcome! Here's the design:

You can read the original post here.

Polish Party: Gradient Nails

Hi everyone,
So after a vote we all decided that this months Polish Party theme would be gradient. I love doing gradient designs because there are so many different colour combinations and the nail art possibilities are endless! I decided to keep the gradient simple and use summery colours because for the past week or so it has been really sunny here in England! Here's what I came up with:

I used  Nails Inc You're a Peach, Nails Inc Atomic and Nails Inc OMP!

Polish Party: Splatter Nails

Hi everyone,
So today I thought I'd show you the design I created for this months Polish Party theme - splatter. I have to be honest with you, when I first saw this theme I wasn't going to participate. Every time I try to do splatter nails they always fail, but this time I thought I'd give them a try, but do something slightly different.
Here's what I came up with:

I used Maybelline Color Show Iced Queen, Max Factor Cool Jade and Barry M Nail Art Pen in White

Polish Party: Inspired By another Party Member

Hi everyone,
So Aprils prompt for the Polish Party is Inspired by another Polish Party Member. This prompt has been on nominated a couple of times now (each month be vote for a design) and this month it won the vote. As soon as I saw this I knew I couldn't miss this prompt out, so I took a little break from revision to do some nail art! I knew exactly which member I was going to choose too: Emily from Nailsxo

Emily creates really great designs and has recently started to do tutorials too. I decided to follow her Framed/Border Nail Art tutorial (see it here).
Here's my recreation following Emily's tutorial:

I used Barry M Gelly Guava and Barry M Matt White

Polish Party: Spring

Hi everyone,
So this months Polish Party theme is Spring. Spring always reminds me of when I was in Primary School. My and my friends would always sit on the grass and make Daisy Chain bracelet's for each other, so I'd thought I'd incorporate daisies into my design.

A couple of days ago I was contacted by Julep and asked to take part in their Spring Nail Art Contest! Julep has so many gorgeous nail polishes to choose from (see them here)! I've decided to put this design forward for the competition, however I wasn't able to use any Julep nail polishes because sadly they don't ship to the UK (fingers crossed they do soon though!).

This is also my entry for NailPolis' Spring Nail Art contest. If you like the design please vote for me here
Here's what I came up with:

I used Rimmel Lycra Pro Aqua Cool, NYC High Line Green, Barry M Matt White and Models Own Nail Art Pen in Yellow

Polish Party: January Blues

Hi everyone,
So a few days a go I joined a group of lovely ladies called the Polish Party! Once a month we will all post a nail art design to do with a particular theme we have chosen. This month's theme is January Blues! I wasn't sure what to do for this theme, but then I thought I'd combine two blue polishes I love - because nail polish can cheer anyone up!
Here's what I came up with:

I used No7 Stand Out, NYC Ink Stain and Rimmel I Love Lasting Finish in Your Majesty
