Lacquer Legion - Fandom

Hi everyone,
It's Lacquer Legion time! This months theme is Fandom and I have to say I was really happy when I found out the theme! The only hard part was deciding which fandom to choose! In the end I decided to choose a few fandoms and show a different one on each of my nails.

Glitter Gradient

*This product was provided for me to review
For more information see my disclaimer policy

Hi everyone,
So today I thought I'd attempt to do a glitter gradient. After seeing numerous stunning glitter gradients on Dahlia Nails I finally decided to give them a go. I've always loved glitter gradients but whenever I tried to do them they never turned out how I wanted to. I'm pretty happy with the glitter gradient I'm going to show you today as it the first successful one I have done!
Here's the design:

I used  Graffiti Nails Butterfly Pink* and Graffiti Nails Morning Mist*

Geometric accent nail

Hi everyone,
So today I've decided to show you a few of the nail art designs I created as possibilities to wear at my prom a few weeks ago. You can see the design I chose to wear on my nails here. I'm going to apologise in advance for the photos and clean up as I wasn't planning to post these - they were just quick little designs I came up with.
Here's the first design:

I used Barry M Gelly Coconut, No7 Night Silver, No7 So Simple and LA Colors Art Deco Nail Striper in Black.

Tour de France Nails

Hi everyone,
So for those of you who live in Europe (especially in France and the UK) you will know that today is actually the first stage of Le Tour de France. Le Tour de France is a cycling race which takes place in France, often departing from another country in Europe and ending in France. This year for the 101st edition the cycle race is actually beginning in England - in the NORTH not the South! Stage 1 of the race will be Leeds to Harrogate and so I'll actually get to watch the race because it goes through my hometown! To celebrate the occasion I decided to create some Tour de France nails:

White Tribal Pop Art

Hi everyone,
Today is my last day in Sixth Form! (Sixth Form is basically college and you go their to study A-Levels.) Anyway, because it's my last day I knew I couldn't leave Sixth Form without some nail art on my nails. So, I took a break from revision, paired 2 of my favourite colours and came up with another design from the Tribal Pop Art Series (click here to see my other designs from the series)
Here's my design:

I used Barry M Gelly Guava, Barry M Gelly Pomegranate, Barry M Matt White and Barry M Nail Art Pen in White.

Polish Party: Inspired By another Party Member

Hi everyone,
So Aprils prompt for the Polish Party is Inspired by another Polish Party Member. This prompt has been on nominated a couple of times now (each month be vote for a design) and this month it won the vote. As soon as I saw this I knew I couldn't miss this prompt out, so I took a little break from revision to do some nail art! I knew exactly which member I was going to choose too: Emily from Nailsxo

Emily creates really great designs and has recently started to do tutorials too. I decided to follow her Framed/Border Nail Art tutorial (see it here).
Here's my recreation following Emily's tutorial:

I used Barry M Gelly Guava and Barry M Matt White

Purple Leopard Print

Hi everyone,
So first of all Happy Easter!
I'm sorry this design isn't Easter-themed, it's just something I've pulled out from the archives!
I created this design a few weeks ago, I started off with just Maybelline Color Show Iced Queen on my nails and then a few days later I added some leopard print!
Here's the design:

I used  Maybelline Color Show Iced Queen, Revlon Gold Coin, Rimmel Your Majesty and Avon Nailwear Pro+ Licorice
