Glitter Gradient

Hi everyone,
So today I thought I'd attempt to do a glitter gradient. After seeing numerous stunning glitter gradients on Dahlia Nails I finally decided to give them a go. I've always loved glitter gradients but whenever I tried to do them they never turned out how I wanted to. I'm pretty happy with the glitter gradient I'm going to show you today as it the first successful one I have done!
Here's the design:

I used  Graffiti Nails Butterfly Pink* and Graffiti Nails Morning Mist*
For full swatches of both nail polish click here.

I know this isn't the best glitter gradient but I love the contrast between the two polishes - the glitter really stands out against the pink!

Overall I really like this design. Glitter gradients are really easy to create and the colour combinations are endless! As you can probably tell though there is still room for improvement - my glitter gradient is far from perfect!

What do you think of this colour combination?
Have you got any tips on how to create a glitter gradient?
Let me know what you think

  1. That pink polish looks amazing! Such a gorgeous colour, and it looks great on you :) Cute glitter gradient as well! I've only tried it once and I found it to be harder than it looks!

  7. I haven't done a glitter gradient like this, I have always gone for an reverse one! I start out with a subtle glitter as a base, wiping as much of the brush as possible and then build up from there bringing in my main glitter over the top. This looks fab, love the colour combo and gradient. Aren't Graffiti Nails polishes lovely?
