Little Flowers

Hi everyone,
So for today's design I decided to step into Spring a little and do a flower design! I recently picked up the colour most stunning burgundy colour (No7 Gel Look Shine in Deep Wine) with my No7 voucher and knew I wanted to use it as a base for some nail art! When my friend suggested adding flowers, I knew I didn't want to go for a typical flower design, instead I opted for a sort of gradient, which worked well (I think!).
Here's my design:

I used No7 Gel-Look Shine in Deep Wine, Sinful Colors Snow Me White and Revlon Gold Coin

To create the flowers I used my dotting tools. I decided to do a gradient so that I could show off the beauty of the base colour!

Overall I really love this design. It makes a change from winter designs and the contrast between the burgundy and the white flowers works really well! Although the gradient hasn't worked out as well as I would of liked, I still like the outcome.

Do you think flower designs can be done all year round?
Do you like this design?
Let me know what you think

  2. Cute flowers using just dots. That's one of my favorite ways to create them.
