Models Own Rocket Swatch

Hi everyone,

So today I thought I'd show you another swatch from Models Own's Fireworks collection.

Instead of showing you this collection over black like the majority of the swatches I have seen, I've decided to use a different base colour to show the versatility of the collection.

Today's nail polish is Models Own Rocket.

Rocket is available from the Models Own website, Boots and Superdrug for £5.00

For this swatch I used 1 coat Models Own Rocket over NYC Ink Stain 

Rocket is made up of red, orange and silver glitters in a variety of different shapes and sizes including bar and hexagonal glitter.

This nail polish had the most glitter in the bottle, the ratio of clear nail polish to glitter was definitely more glitter than nail polish (I'm not sure if that makes sense, but hopefully you understand what I mean). 

This made application of these easier in some ways, but harder in others. It is a one - coater (making it easier) however so much glitter came out at once I had take some of it off!

Overall, I have to say this isn't my favourite nail polish from the collection. Maybe it's just the combination with Ink Stain, but this nail polish doesn't really appeal to me as much. It does look nice over black though.
