Hi everyone,
So this design is not my best, but the aim of this blog is so show both my nail art fails and successes. For this design I wanted to practice drawing stars because drawing them freehand is pretty tricky (well I think it is!).
Here's my design:
I used Company Polish in LANA, LA Colors Art Deco Striper in Black and LA Colors Art Deco Striper in Teal Glitter
I really like the simplicity of this and the black outlines give it more of a cartoon feel.

Overall, I'm not really that happy with this design. I think the black outlines could have been thinner and the stars could have been drawn better - I'll just have to practice. I do like the colour combination though.

Even though it's not what you were going for, I actually like that the black outlines are so thick, it makes the design more cartoony :) And oh my, I'm so happy to have found someone who also thinks stars are difficult! Other people seem to be such pro's at drawing stars but I am definitely rubbish at it. Stars are hard! I love the colours you picked here and the placement of the stars onto your nails :)
