Slime Nails Tutorial

Hi everyone,
Happy Halloween!
To I thought I'd show you how I created the nails I showed you earlier today for Halloween. I think these nails are a really simple way to get into the Halloween spirit and are really versatile - instead of green nail polish, you could use red to make it look like blood is dripping down your nails!
You can see the original post here.

Here are the nail polishes I used:

Here is the tool I used:

Now, on to the tutorial:

Paint your nails with a base coat and then use your dotting tool and your chosen slime colour to create three big dots on your nail.

Next, carefully drag these dots up to the top of your nail using your dotting tool

Finally fill in the gaps at the top of your nail using your dotting tool, making sure you attach each drip together.

Wait for your design to dry and then add a topcoat. You can clean up your design using a brush dipped in acetone, or my personal favourite Barry M Nail Polish Corrector.

Here is a round up of all the steps:

Hopefully this tutorial was useful!
Let me know what you think.

Please let me know if you try out this design - I can't wait to see you all try it!

  3. I've never thought of dragging the dots to make drips, I usually freehand the rest of the look. But this looks way easier! Totally going to give it a try. :) Great tutorial!
