Hi everyone,
So with today being New Years Eve I thought I'd do a little round up of 2014, I cannot believe how quick this year has gone! This year has been pretty hectic for me, both blog-wise and in my personal life. Sufficed to say I started this year with good blogging intentions, however over the last few months I've been a bad blogger. I've stopped commenting on blogs and posting as often. The truth is university has just been so hectic that I've hardly had time to just sit and read blog posts! - it's a terrible excuse but my plan is to keep on top of everything in 2015 and comment on blogs more regularly like I used to!
Anyway, onto the round-up!
Follower-wise my blog has:
684 Facebook likes (2014 goal - 40)
417 followers on Instagram (2014 goal - 75)
304 Tumblr Followers (2014 goal - 250)
147 Twitter followers
112 Members (2014 goal - 100)
118 Bloglovin' followers (2014 goal - 100)
48 followers on Google + (2014 goal - 100)
By comparing this to Last Year's Round-up you can see I have increase in followers, especially on Facebook! I think the only goal I haven't met is Google +.
I think the progression of my nail art from 2013 to 2014 can best be viewed from my Tribal Pop Art Series, which I started in 2013:
As you can see the style has not only progressed by the the nail art as well, the lines are a lot cleaner.
In 2014 I did take on the mammoth task which was the 31 Day Nail Art Challenge. This has definitely improved my nail art skills but also encouraged my to push myself nail art-wise something which I wanted to achieve in 2014. I also became a member of the Polish Party - which I really enjoy, however I've been slacking on, and need to take part in again as of 2015. I also took part in the Lacquer Legion, which made me think outside the box a lot for nail art.
Here is a round of my favourite nail art designs from 2014:
I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who follows me, comments and reads my blog. I would also like to say a big thank you to those of you in the blogging community who guest posted for my in the summer (see the round up here)! - it meant that I could concentrate on my a levels and get to into the university I wanted! - I am forever in your debt Robin, Grace, Emma, Jo, Emily and Cherelle!
Overall I think 2014 has been a pretty good year! I'm not going to set myself any goals this year, instead I'm just gonna let the nail art do the talking and focus on my blog content, nail art and commenting a lot more on other blogs!
I hope you all have a great New Years Eve!
What is your favourite design of mine?
Let me know what you think
