31DC2014 Day 16: Geometric

Hi everyone,
So for today's nail art the theme is geometric. Personally I really like geometric nail art however for some reason I struggled to come up with a design for this prompt. In the end I did manage to come up with a design using my Barry m nail art pens which I usually use for this style of nail art.

I used No7 Stand Back, Barry M Nail Art Pen in Black and Barry M Nail Art Pen in White

I decided to keep the colour scheme simple by having a monochrome design and a different coloured base. I think these types of colour combinations work well as the chosen colour (in this case blue) helps the black and white design really stand out.

Overall I think this design has turned out quite well. I think the twist on normal triangles gives the design more depth and the base really helps to make the design stand out.
