Music and Gradients

Hi everyone,
Today's nail art is inspired by what I am doing this week - I'm going to see Rita Ora in concert!!!  She is such an amazing singer - I can't believe that I managed to get tickets!
I'm so excited for this and so I decided to paint my nails for the occasion.

I used Max Factor max colour effects mini cool jade, Barry M Blueberry "ice cream" ,  No7 Stand Back and Models Own Nail Art Pen in Blue for the gradient. For the nail art I used Models Own Nail Art Pen in Black.

I decided to use different notes to make each nail unique, I didn't have the courage to try drawing a treble clef, so I just stuck to crochets and quavers.

The blue gradient worked really well once I'd done the first couple of nails. I used the tutorial made by Sammy at The Nailasaurus - you can see it here. Here's what the gradient looked like by itself:

Let me know what you think!
