Polish Party: Gradient Nails

Hi everyone,
So after a vote we all decided that this months Polish Party theme would be gradient. I love doing gradient designs because there are so many different colour combinations and the nail art possibilities are endless! I decided to keep the gradient simple and use summery colours because for the past week or so it has been really sunny here in England! Here's what I came up with:

I used  Nails Inc You're a Peach, Nails Inc Atomic and Nails Inc OMP!

Simple Gradient

Hi everyone,
So today's design is something I've been wanting to do for such a long time, but have only just got round to trying out. I really like the look of gradients with a layer of glitter on top, so I decided to have a go at doing one myself.
Here's what I came up with:

I used Max Factor Mini Cool Jade, Maybelline Color Show Urban Turquoise, Fingr's Heart 2 Art The Boys in Blue and Technic Treasure Chest (Gold glitter)

Metallic Gradient

Hi everyone,
I've had this idea for quite a while now, but have only got just got round to doing it. I have a lot more metallic  nail polishes compared to cream polishes and only used to wear metallic nail polish when I was little. I thought it would be a good idea to combine 3 of my favourite metallic shades into a gradient manicure!

Here's what I came up with:

I used Models Own Magenta Pearl, Models Own Purple Pearl and No7 Sing the Blues.

Gradient Confetti

Hi everyone,
For today's post I decided to use L'oreal Confetti! I finally managed to get my hands on a bottle of it last month, so I decided to use it as a topcoat over a gradient. Here's what I came up with:

I used Models Own Fruit Pastel Grape Juice, Max Factor Diva Violet, No7 Foxglove and L'oreal Color Riche Nail Top Coat Confetti

My No7 Voucher

Hi everyone,
So after spending over £5 in Boots again I received another voucher!

With my voucher I decided to buy some make up sponges. I have never tried No7 Make-Up sponges before, but I have seen good reviews about these ones (No7 Flawless Finish Sponge). These are normally £3.75 but with my voucher I got them for 75p! At 75p you can't go wrong! You can see the sponges here .

These sponges are not only good for make-up, but are also really good for doing gradients on your nails!

What have you bought with your voucher?

Purple Spot Gradient

Hi everyone,
Today's nails are pretty simple, and were completely improvised. My original idea for this week didn't go to plan at all so I decided to do a spot gradient and I'm glad I did!

Here are the nails:

I used Models Own Grape Juice and Models Own Magenta Pearl

Music and Gradients

Hi everyone,
Today's nail art is inspired by what I am doing this week - I'm going to see Rita Ora in concert!!!  She is such an amazing singer - I can't believe that I managed to get tickets!
I'm so excited for this and so I decided to paint my nails for the occasion.

I used Max Factor max colour effects mini cool jade, Barry M Blueberry "ice cream" ,  No7 Stand Back and Models Own Nail Art Pen in Blue for the gradient. For the nail art I used Models Own Nail Art Pen in Black.

Glitter Nails

In June it was my Year 11 Prom and these are the nails I decided to do for them!

I used Topshop Nails in Ice Crush for the glitter.

I thought the gradient worked well for my first attempt and the glitter was actually silver, not multi-coloured!
