For these nails I wanted to try out my matte topcoat. This design is really simple but shows off the effect of a matte topcoat really well.

I am really excited for today's colour of the month nail art. It's a really simple design, but I love the colour combination. As soon as I saw these two colours in my collection, I knew I wanted to combine them.

Colour of the Month is back!

Hi everyone,

I decided to do the Colour of the Month challenge again, with my exams almost over (just one left!) I thought I'd do this to get me back into doing nail art again!

This months colour is Blue!

Once again I will post blue nail art at the beginning of each week and towards the end of the week I will post a blue swatch from my collection. The only other colours I can use are gold, silver, black and white.

Hi everyone,
For today's nails I decided to use a metallic nail polish for the base. Whenever I go past nail salons I see all of these amazing freehand nail art designs and I always want to try and replicate them. However, whenever I search for them on the internet I can never find them, as most of the nail art at the moment has a creme base.

So I decided to incorporate this with this months colour: purple.  I have always loved freehand nail art, and decided to create one myself, I have done a couple before (see here and here) but this time I wanted to try something a little different. Here is my design:

Today's nails are pretty simple, and were completely improvised. My original idea for this week didn't go to plan at all so I decided to do a spot gradient and I'm glad I did!

Colour of the Month!

Hi everyone,

Today I have decided to start a new series of posts titled "Colour of the Month".

For these posts I will choose a colour and paint my nails that colour for a whole month. This month I have chose purple - because it is my favourite colour and I have so many purple nail polishes!

At the beginning of each week I will post a purple themed nail art design and at the end of the week I will post a purple swatch from my collection. The only other colours I can use are gold, silver, black and white.
