Explosions!

Hi everyone,
For today's nails I decided to use a metallic nail polish for the base. Whenever I go past nail salons I see all of these amazing freehand nail art designs and I always want to try and replicate them. However, whenever I search for them on the internet I can never find them, as most of the nail art at the moment has a creme base.

So I decided to incorporate this with this months colour: purple.  I have always loved freehand nail art, and decided to create one myself, I have done a couple before (see here and here) but this time I wanted to try something a little different. Here is my design:

I used Models Own Magenta Pearl, Models Own Nail Art Pen in White and Models Own Nail Art Pen in Gold.

I think these nails kind of look like explosions and I am really pleased with how they have turned out.

This was the first time I used my Gold Nail Art Pen and I love how easy it was to use and how bold the gold is. I really like free hand nail art, and think I will probably try to come up with some more designs in the future.

I think the colours work really well together, and the design is most likely to be inspired by Sari's I wear to weddings and events. I have always loved the detail on Sari's and the colours used , and so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to incorporate it into nail art!
