So today is the last day of swatches for the Colour of the Month challenge (see the "colour of the month" tab). I thought I'd show you a swatch of the latest addition to my polish collection: Models Own Grape Juice (part of the Fruit Pastel scented polish collection).

This nail polish is available from the Models Own website and larger Boots stores. Models Own have recently added this new addition (along with 4 other scented polishes) to their collection and have even customized the bottle to match!

No7 Foxglove Swatch

Hi everyone,

Today's purple nail polish review is No7 Foxglove. I bought this nail polish with one of the Boots "£5 off No7" vouchers. This colour is not your typical purple, but I have to say it is such a good colour!

This nail polish is available at Boots. The nail polish bottle is very simple itself, and has a kind of hourglass shape. No7 probably have the best polish brushes I have seen, they are rounded at the end - which makes it a lot easier to apply the polish near the cuticle, without flooding the nail. 

Purple Spot Gradient

Today's nails are pretty simple, and were completely improvised. My original idea for this week didn't go to plan at all so I decided to do a spot gradient and I'm glad I did!

Today's swatch is Models Own Purple Pearl. I bought this nail polish at Clothes Show Live a couple of years ago, and only got round to using it this year - I'm so glad I finally used it! I love the colour!

This nail polish is available from the Models Own website and I think it is available at Boots (but i'm not entirely sure). I have always loved the packaging of Models Own Products, it's simple and elegant. The polish has a good sized brush, which gives the polish an even coat on the nail.

Fishtail nails are really popular, and I thought they would be a really good way to combine some of the purples I own.

Max Factor Diva Violet Swatch

Hi everyone,

So today's swatch has to be one of my favourite purple's in my collection: Max Factor Diva Violet. This was the first Max Factor polish I bought, and was the colour I used for my very first nail art design!

The nail polish is available at both Boots and Superdrug. First of all it comes in a pretty little bottle - it's so cute! It has a really good brush which covers the nail really well and gives an even finish.

Colour of the Month!

Hi everyone,

Today I have decided to start a new series of posts titled "Colour of the Month".

For these posts I will choose a colour and paint my nails that colour for a whole month. This month I have chose purple - because it is my favourite colour and I have so many purple nail polishes!

At the beginning of each week I will post a purple themed nail art design and at the end of the week I will post a purple swatch from my collection. The only other colours I can use are gold, silver, black and white.
