Stained Glass half moons

Hi everyone,
So first of all sorry for the lack of posts last week. Last week was actually my Birthday and with it being my first Birthday at University I spent it with my friends and it was very hectic to say the least! Last week was actually quite a weird week for me, I wasn't feeling that well and I just generally didn't feel that good in myself - I didn't even paint my nails for my Birthday! But anyway I'm back on track now (fingers crossed)!
For today's post I decided to use Models Own Top Turquoise, a polish that's been on my list for a while now and one I often see on Emma & Jo's blog - Dahlia Nails!

I used Models Own Top Turquoise, Models Own Nail Art Pen in White, Models Own Nail Art Pen in Black and LA Colors Art Deco in Teal Glitter

The Lacquer Legion: Glam

Hi everyone,
So like I said in my Blogging Break post I'd still take part in The Lacquer Legion and the Polish Party. When I saw the prompt for this months Lacquer Legion I knew I had to take part! This months Lacquer Legion theme is Glam!

As soon as I saw the theme I knew exactly what design I wanted to do.

Freehand Half Moons

Hi everyone,
Looking back through my last few designs I've realised I've been using turquoise a lot! I think it's slowly becoming my new favourite nail polish colour, I think I love it almost as much as purple!

Anyway, continuing with turquoise/green nails, I thought I'd have a go at doing half moon nails again. Half moons are such a simple design but are so elegant. The last time I tried this design I used hole reinforces to get the moon shape (see the post here), but as promised I said I would try this design freehand.
Here is the outcome:

I used Max Factor Cool Jade and Rimmel I Love Lasting Finish Your Majesty.

Triangle Half Moons

Hi everyone,
So I finally managed to get my hands on the perfect turquoise polish! I've been looking for a polish this colour for such a long time now and I finally found it when I was in my local Boots. The nail polish I'm talking about is Maybelline Color Show Urban Turquoise.

As soon as I bought this I couldn't resist putting it on and doing some nail art. I decided to come up with a simple design so that I could show off the colour.

Elegant Half Moons

Hi everyone,
So today I thought I'd try half moon nails. I've been wanting to try these for a while now and when my two new sinful colors polishes arrived (Island Coral and Amethyst) I immediately knew Amethyst would look great with gold.

I think that half moons, just like french manicures look really elegant. They are both such simple designs, but the outcomes are really amazing.

Here is my design:

I used Revlon Gold Coin and Sinful Colors Amethyst

V - Shaped Nail Art

Hi everyone,
I really struggled with what nail art to do today. I knew exactly what colour I wanted to use, I just didn't know what design to do. Eventually I came up with this:

I used No7 Stand Back and Rimmel Your Majesty.
