Princess Jasmine Nails

Hi everyone,
Yesterday was my best friends 18th Birthday Party, so being the grown - up girls we are (not really) we had a Disney Princess Party. We all had to dress up as different Disney Princesses and I chose Princess Jasmine. Obviously I had to match my nails to my outfit, here's my design:

I used Barry M Blueberry and Models Own Nail Art Pen in Gold.
The rhinstone is from a NPW Nail Art Wheel.

I decided to add the rhinestone for Princess Jasmine's headband. In Aladdin she has a blue headband with a blue gem, so I thought I'd do that for an accent nail.

I really like having different coloured french tips, I think it's something I'll have to try again.

Overall I really like this design, it's simple and matched my outfit really well.

Do you like this design?
Let me know what you think
Jayna

  1. This is such a cute manicure! Fits perfectly for Princess Jasmine :) And I love the fact that your friend had a Disney Princess themed birthday party - when I turned 20, I made everyone dress up as an animal for my birthday party, so I totally get the fun of it :)

  2. Thanks for the feedback on my blog! I want to give feedback on yours as well, but honestly, I can't think of anything that could improve here... (which is a very positive thing though of course).
I like your banner, it's eye-catching, and I also like the floral background - maybe some people would find it too "busy" and distracting, but I don't :) I really like how you post a picture of the polish bottle alone, I don't know why I like this but it's something not a lot of blogs do, and it's nice to be able to see the bottle clearly. The lay-out and different pages on your blog is clear and well-organised. And your pictures are very high quality, so honestly, I can't think of anything that you could improve! Sorry that my feedback isn't really helpful. But if all things are good, that can be said as well I suppose! :)

    1. Thank you so much Robin!
I'm glad you like the polish bottle photo's, it was something I wanted to see on other blogs, so I thought If I did it myself people might find it useful :)
I've been wanting to change my banner for a while know as it showed a lot of my early nail art, which wasn't as good. I just changed it before reading your comment - what do you think of it - do you like it or do you think the old one was better?
Thank you for your feedback :)

    2. I like it! It's fun that the colours are sort of mirrored, that shows that you thought about which pictures to use! :)

  6. I arrived here from Beginning Blogger's Bootcamp and I am trying to find some constructive critique to help you improving your blog... in vane.
Your blog is really good and I can't believe you are only 17!
    Sincere compliments.
The ONLY thing I can maybe suggest is related to 'contact' page: it is better to avoid writing the email address as it is because it can generate spam. Hope this little thing should help!

  7. Hey,
There look amazing!!! I am so jealous of your Disney princess party- I'm definitely going to have to copy that!
I actually came here from the Will Paint Nails for Food bootcamp and instead of having helpful advice (because your blog seems pretty perfect to me!) I'm going to ask for some! I'd love to know how you format your blog so that only part of each post shows on the home page (ie and you can click to read more). Thanks so much if you can help me out with this!!!

    1. Hello :) Thank you! Haha, you definitely should - it was really good! :)
      Aww, thanks! :)
I actually only found out how to do that last week! It's actually easier than it looks, when you are writing a post, at the top there are lots of icons ( i.e to change font, insert a link etc.). Wherever you want your "read more" bit to go, click the little picture of the paper cut in half (it's next to the "Insert video" picture). Then a dashed line should come up.

I'm sorry that's a really bad description, but I hope it helps! :)
