31DC2014 Day 11: Polka Dots

Hi everyone,

So for day 11 the theme is polka dots. I decided to try a white base for polka dots instead of another colour as white is normally the colour of most polka dot nails! I also decided to add a sort of ombre effect to the design too. 
Here's what I came up with:

I used Sinful Colors Snow Me White, Models Own Grape Juice, Maybelline Color Show Iced Queen, Models Own HyperGel Purple Glare and Sinful Colors Amethyst

To create this design I used a dotting tool, allowing me to create neat, uniform dots. I think the ombre effect works well, but I perhaps needed a different (maybe darker shade) on my little finger.

Overall I really like the simplicity of this design. The white base makes a nice change from a coloured base.
