Mini Zebra!

Hi everyone, 

As part of my "Mini Nails" series, I thought I'd show you the nails I did on my little sister's friend!

For her nails, she wanted Zebra print, and I decided to give it a twist by doing rainbow zebra nails!

 I used (going from left to right) Max Factor max colour effects mini cool jade, Rimmel I Love Lasting Finish in Sunshine, Nails Inc Atomic, Barry M Coral, Avon Real Red, NYC Little Italy,  Max Factor Nailfinity Disco Pink, No7 Foxglove, Max Factor max colour effects mini diva , No7  Stand Back and Models Own Nail Art Pen in  Black.

I really like the design and definitely think I am going to try this out on myself soon!

Easter Nails?

Hi everyone,

Today I thought I'd show you the nails I have done for Easter! The pattern is Easter inspired, but I don't really think the colours are - I think they are more inspired by the weather! At the moment we have so much snow here in Yorkshire, and I guess that has influenced me into using cold colours for my nail art. 

I used Max Factor max colour effects mini cool jade, Barry M Blueberry and Models Own Nail Art Pen in White.

Easter's come early!

Hi everyone,

Today's nail art is inspired by Easter (I know it's a little early!). Every year when it comes to Easter, like everyone else I am excited by the chocolate. Most people love Creme Eggs, but to be honest I don't really like them, instead I much prefer Mini Eggs. Mini Eggs are amazing! Because I love Mini Eggs so much I decided to incorporate them into some nail art.

For this post I tried to create the same effect as the new speckled range by Illamasqua (see here).

V - Shaped Nail Art

I really struggled with what nail art to do today. I knew exactly what colour I wanted to use, I just didn't know what design to do. Eventually I came up with this:

Happy Mother's Day!

Hi everyone,

First of all...Happy Mother's Day to all you mum's out there!

For today's post I thought I'd show you some nail art I did for my mum, especially for Mother's Day.

I used No7 Salsa, Models Own Nail Art Pen in Black and Models Own Nail Art Pen in Gold.

For as long as I can remember my Mum has always worn nail polish, and she was the one who got me into it! Between us we have so many nail polishes, most of hers are metallic (hence my love for metallic nail polish!). My mum really liked my nail art last week (see the post here), so I thought I'd do them for her.

Pretty Little Flowers

Hi everyone,

Today I thought I'd take a break from creme nail polishes and go back to metallic nail polish!

When I was little I never had creme nail polish, I always had metallic colours, it was only when I got into nail art that I started to use creme polish!

For my design today I decided to do little flowers on the side, so that I could see more of the metallic colour. The flowers are similar to the ones I did on my french manicure design before. (See the post here).

I used Models Own Purple Pearl, Max Factor max colour effects mini Fantasy Fire, No7 Nail Art Pen in  Black and No7 Nail Art Pen in Silver.

Mini Posts & Music Notes!

Hi everyone,
So today is the 1st March, so I thought it would be a good time to try starting a new series of posts! These posts are basically all about the nail art I do on other people (usually my little sister - hence the name mini!).

 I thought I'd start of with the most recent nail art design I've done on my little sister! She really liked my gradient music notes I did a couple of weeks ago (see here) and asked for a different version of them on her nails. I decided to use 5 different types of notes on her nails.

I used Barry M Coral, No7 Nail Art Striper in Silver and No7 Nail Art Striper in Black.

I added a shadow, but I'm not really sure if it has worked that well. The design was easy to do, but was hard to draw on her nails - they're  tiny!
